State Congress president Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday charged that the ruling BJP Government in the State was selling land at the rate of Rs200 per acre to industrial houses.
He was addressing a party workers’ convention for Korba lok Sabha seat here. He said that the BJP Government was making a mockery of the residents of State.“Fourteen lakh additional ration cards were made, irregularities were noticed in coal blocks, industrial houses are being provided land at the rate of Rs200 per acre”, Baghel said.
Congress legislature Party (ClP) leader TS Singh Deo while outlining various achievements of Congress regime said that Congress party has ushered a new path of development. The miles of development which Congress government has covered could be travelled by none.
Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing and sitting MP from Korba who is re-contesting polls from the Korba seat Dr Charandas Mahant said that the young leader of Congress party Rahul Gandhi works for bringing people together.He further said “I never contest election but the election is fought by office bearers and worker of Congress party”. Also present were Korba MlA Jaisingh Agrawal and other leaders of the party.
