AICC In-Charge of Chhattisgarh, Pl Punia has alleged that the ruling BJP Government in the State is oppressive towards the tribals and was crushing their rights by misusing power. And the need of the hour is to curb it.
The recently passed amendment in land Revenue Code is a current example for the same, he said.
Talking to reporters in a press conference here, Punia said it was tradition of the Congress party that it has not fought elections projecting anyone as a CM candidate.
After getting majority, the Congress legislators would elect their leader for the post of Chief Minister, he reiterated.
Regarding election manifesto, Punia informed that a committee has been formed as per instruction of AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi which has started functioning and was busy nowadays analysing the issues.
