BJP condemns PM's breach of security

Staff Reporter

Condemning the breach of security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab, a BJP delegation on Saturday submitted a memorandum to Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey.

Former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh told the media that the delegation had a discussion on the issue with the Governor.

He said the incident was an attack on the constitutional structure. It reflects a conspiracy as the place is near the Pakistan border.

He said Congress President Sonia Gandhi called for a probe but the Punjab Chief Minister called it a "minor" incident. It reflects the mindset of the Chief Minister towards the Prime Minister.

On Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's description of the incident as a "drama" by the Prime Minister, he said he should have at least kept the dignity of the post before making such a comment.
