State BJP president Ramsevak Paikra has termed the speech of the Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi, delivered at Kharsia in Raigarh district as regrettable. Paikara said that once against it has been made clear from his speech that he doesn’t know any of the issues of the State, neither his speech writer, perhaps, not wanted to get him understand something.
Paikra said that the whole speech of Rahul there as limited to Jhiram Ghati attack only, but it was regrettable that he did not mention naxalism anywhere in his speech. He said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had repeatedly said that naxalism is the biggest crisis on the national security, but what vision the Congress has to solve this naxalite problem and what does it think about this issue. In spite of telling something about it, the Congress has been trying to take benefit out of it, he added.
Paikra said that earlier also, the Congress had been repeatedly telling that it would be the true tribute to the martyrdom to make the Congress Government in the State. It also manifests the greedy intention of the Congress.
Paikra said that recently the Central Government had said in the affidavit presented in the Supreme Court that Maoist thinker is most dangerous. It is more dangerous than the Maoist armed cadre, who, from the year 2001, had killed 8,100 people so far. The BJP leader said that in spite of expressing such thoughts, by talking the language of naxalites, Rahul has put shame on the country. In the manner Rahul spoke about the so called injustice in relation to Jhiram incident and on the development, the naxalite also say the same thing. He should have used words thoughtfully, he added.
Paikra said that neither Rahul has understanding to village and the poor, nor any knowledge of farming. The doors of Nandeli village had always been closed for the Opposition. Rahul should understand that no village is like 10 Janpath, he added. He also told the lie that he had decided to project the late Nandkumar Patel as the Chief Ministerial candidate. Because the Congress itself says that the party does not declare its leader before the election. The Congress was telling the lie so far, or Rahul is telling the lie repeatedly. It should have made the situation clear that to whom the Congress wanted to project as its leader.
