The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on Wednesday took out a massive rally in support of Health Minister Amar Agrawal in the aftermath of the sterilisation deaths in Bilaspur district.
The workers were of the view that the unfortunate incident occurred due to ‘criminal negligence’ and immediately the State Government fixed priorities by making arrangements for best possible medical treatment for the victims.
A delegation of party workers later met Superintendent of Police BN Meena and handed over a memorandum to him.
Senior BJP leaders including Alderman Ramdev Kumawat, former Bilaspur Mayor Vinod Soni, Ramesh lalwani, Chandra Prakash Mioshra, Shankar Kachwaha, Umesh Yadav besides large number of party activists were present in the rally.
