BJP Raipur District president Ashok Pandey has termed the bandh called by the Congress party on Friday in Chhattisgarh to protest Maoist attack on the security personnel in Jeeram valley as 'politically motivated'.
In a statement here, Pandey said that the bandh would achieve nothing other than causing inconvenience to the people. ‘By holding a bandh, the Congress cannot solve the insurgency problem in the State’, he said, adding ‘the Congress is trying to take political advantage from the incident’. This is the hour when the parties should rise above politics and collectively condemn the incident, Pandey said.
