A comprehensive Mapping of the inventory of Biomedical equipments of public health facilities up to Primary Health Centre (PHC) level will be taken up soon in all the 27 districts of Chhattisgarh.Hindustan latex Family Planning Promotion Trust is a trust promoted by Hll lifecare ltd—a Central public sector enterprise will be implementing the project that will include all district hospitals, civil hospitals, civil dispensaries, Community Health Centres (CHCs) and PHCs in the 27 districts, officials stated.
The work to be taken up by the Trust would comprise line listing of biomedical equipment in all PHCs, CHCs, Civil Hospitals, Civil Dispensaries, and District Hospital in 27 districts, assessment of functional status of all biomedical equipments, assessment of any existing warranty/AMC/CMC status for all biomedical equipments, listing of any other information in medical equipment inventory software (e-Upkran) for the State of Chhattisgarh.
The Biomedical equipment inventory mapping will use the following data sources:-line listing of Medical Devices or mapping technologies in PHCs, CHCs, Civil Hospitals, Civil Dispensaries, and District Hospital, data, Functional Status, AMC/CMC/Warranty status of each Medical Equipment.Any other information required for the purposes of equipment inventory mapping would also be gathered, officials stated
