A bicycle rally is scheduled on September 11 at 7.00 am near the Marine Drive Telibandha pond here to create awareness on anaemia and malnutrition.
People including public representatives will participate. The slogan is ‘Poshan Meri Bhi Jimmedari’ (Nutrition is my Responsibility).
Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhedia said in a statement that malnutrition and anaemia is not limited to Chhattisgarh but exists all over the country.
The maximum impact is seen among children and women. Creating awareness is necessary as a step towards its eradication.
The bicycle rally is part of a series of events under the National Nutrition Month organized in September.
