Forest Minister Mahesh Gagda and Housing and Environment Minister Rajesh Munat on Monday laid the foundation stone and performed 'Bhoomi pujan' of Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Co-operative
Society building in the new capital. The four-storey building will be constructed at a cost of `15 crore, officials stated.
Gagda said that with the construction of the building it will help create congenial environment for officers and employees. The State Government is planning to shift all the offices to Naya Raipur as early as possible.
PWD Minister Rajesh Munat said the building will be constructed in two-year period and instructed the concerned officials to complete the building in a limited time-frame and with the budget allocated.
