With raking up an old matter against the MlA from Gadarpur, Arvind Pande, amid political turmoil over Bhati Commission reports, the political rivalry between the ruling Congress party and the BJP have again come to the fore in the hill state.
BJP MlA from Gadarpur assembly constituency, Arvind Pande, who upset Congress’ political equations in the Gadarpur seat in last year’ s assembly polls badly by defeating veteran N D Tiwari’s nephew Maneesh Tiwari, may land in some legal trouble as a local court Haldwani has issued a non-bailable warrant(NBW) against him.
The non-bailable warrant(NBW) has been issued against the BJP MlA from Gadarpur on the charge of his alleged involvement in a traffic jam case resulting in chaos registered against him in Kathgodam police station in 2005. After the Holi
celebrations the copy of the court order issued against the MlA will be affixed in his house, said Sanjay Pandey, SHO, Kathgodam police station while talking to The Pioneer.
Accordingly, as per the court’s order all the necessary actions would be taken to implement the court’s order, asserted the SHO. Officials maintain the MlA had not appeared before court concerned in Haldwani for a long time. Taking a note of it, the said court has issued the NBW now against the MlA from Gadarpur.
