Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday said that Bastar is transforming very fast and there is all round development.
A rail corridor will pass through Kanker and the dream of 235 kms of rail line in the region had been fulfilled, he said while addressing a public meeting during the conclusion of the “Atal Vikas Yatra” at Narharpur in Kanker district.
For last 50 years, Congress only raised slogan of poverty eradication. When BJP came to power it provided rice, grams and salt to poor and ensured education for girl child, Singh said.
The Congress never provided right paddy price to the farmers, he said.
Forty lakh women have been provided smart phones.Our priority is welfare of poor and farmers, Singh said.
Days are not far when youth of region will become Collector and Superintendent of Police, he said.
This is just beginning of development .The development will be four times during the next five years, Singh said.
