Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday asked the Urban Administration and Development Department to take immediate action to make Banki Mogra a Municipal Council in Korba district.
Purushottam Kanwar, Katghora MLA and Vice President of the Madhya Kshetra Tribal Development Authority, raised the issue before Baghel here.
Kanwar pointed out that eight wards of Banki Mogra come under the Korba Municipal Corporation. With the formation of a new municipality, the development works in Banki Mogra can be expedited.
