City-based Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti has called for a bandh of all schools on Wednesday to protest alleged gang rape of a nun in the city recently.
The Chhattisgarh unit of the Congress party in a statement issued here informed that it would support the proposed bandh called by Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti in the city.
There had been a series of protests in the city during the past few days demanding arrest of the persons involved in the alleged gang rape and the Bandh has been called for symbolic protest against the rising cases of rapes in the city.
