The Bharat Aluminium Company limited (Balco) has commenced a ‘watershed management project’ in four villages with the cooperation of National Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (NABARD).
Under the scheme, with the cooperation of the State Fisheries Department a training camp was held at Bhatgaon in which 40 fish farmers of villages Rugbahari , Saraipali , Jam Bahar, Bhatgaon and Ourakachar participated.The implementation of the watershed management project was done by NGO ‘Shrot’.
