The team of pot room section-6 of Bharat Aluminium Company limited (Balco) has been felicitated by the company with best production honour for the fourth quarter of the year 2013-2014, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The employees were honoured in the presence of their families and relatives in a special function organised at the alumina canteen. Balco’s aluminium business head Deepak Prasad, general mnager of Human Resources P Panda, pot room assistant general manager Ravish Sharma, Niket Srivastava, process control head PV Ramesh and manager Swapnila Sahu presented the awards to the employees.
The members pot room section-6 who were felicitated under the excellent production honour scheme include Ranjan Kumar Mishra, Gaurav Pratap Singh Thakur, Rupesh Kumar, Braja Kishore Jayswal, Bhupendra Kumar Jayswal, Vasant Kumar, Ramanand Sahu, Vijay Kumar Kanwar, NR Chandra, N Rajwade, SR Bharadwaj, A Khan, Kamlesh Kumar Chandrakar, Chandrakant Rathore, lokesh Kumar Kashyap, Sudhir Verma, Deepak Kumar Sarkar, Al Patel, J Gupta, Ram Singh, Subhash Chandra Verma and others.
Speaking on the occasion Deepak Prasad said that healthy competition takes the team in the right direction and added that “we are working to develop new strategies to make gradual progress in the company’s business.”
Informing about the company’s new SMS plan, he said the team coming under the excellent production honour scheme would be informed about their performances through SMS. He also pointed out that the pot room section-6 has achieved at 94 per cent current efficiencies which is so far the best condition.
He also stated that the targets would be achieved if all work jointly and efficiently. Panda, Sharma, Srivastava, Ramesh and Sahu greeted the staffs and wished them a bright future. P Trivedi moderated the programme while Ravi Raj Mirre gave the vote of thanks.
