Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President, Bhupesh Baghel and leader of Opposition, TS Singhdeo will accompany former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary, Digvijay Singh in his ongoing ‘Narmada Parikrama Padyatra; at village Khanti in Anuppur district situated at Chhattisgarh-Madhya Pradesh border on Friday.
The leader duo on Thursday night will proceed for Pendra by Sarnath Express and will reach the Khanti village on Friday morning.
Former MP Chief Minister Digvijay Singh had declared that his yatra is solely personal and spiritual. He is not using banner or poster of the Congress party during his Padyatra and had made it distant from a political touch.
He started the Yatra in the month of December last year. After massive public contact programme of 3400 kilometers to be covered in more than six months, Singh is going to return to active politics.
Meanwhile, the leader duo from Chhattisgarh after joining Singh in Khanti will accompany him in the Yatra till Miria Pushparajgarh.
