Hitting back at former chief minister Raman Singh for his slogan ‘Charo Oar Andhera Hai Pahredar Lutera Hai’ in Saturday’s protest, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said that “the BJP was indulged in corruption during its 15-year-old regime and now the party leaders are raising slogans.”
“The 15 year misrule of BJP was responsible for the dilapidated power supply system in the state”, he charged. Baghel was talking to media persons before leaving for Dhamtari district.
Terming the BJP responsible for the state of affairs in power scenario, Baghel further said the right slogan for them was to be “Charo Oar Andhera Hai, Chaukidar Hi Lutera Hai”.
Replying to a query on a judicial probe into the BJP legislator Bhima Mandavi killing, the Chief Minister further said both the probe, judicial and National Investigation Agency (NIA), could go on simultaneously.
The judicial probe will not affect NIA’s probe’’, he said adding that in Jheeram incident too both the probe were carried out simultaneously.
