Newly-appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB) Santosh Bafna on Tuesday took over charge in a function organized at Hotel Johar premise.
Tourism and Culture Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Home Minister Ramsevak Paikra, Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Higher Education Minister Premprakash Pandey, PWD Minister Rajesh Moonat, Commerce and Industry Minister Amar Agrawal congratulated Bafna for taking charge of the new responsibility.
On the occasion, lok Sabha MP from Bastar Dinesh Kashyap, Parliamentary Secretaries labhchand Bafna and Roopkumari Choudhary, Nominated Member of Chhattisgarh legislative Assembly Bernard J Roderigs, For Speaker of Chhattisgarh legislative Assembly Dharamlal Kaushik, MlAs Devji Bhai Patel and Raju Kshatri were also present.
In his address to the function, Tourism and Culture Minister Dayaldas Baghel congratulated Bafna, and wished that Bafna would take tourismsector of Chhattisgarh to a new level of progress and would discharge his duties with utmost dedication.
Newly-appointed Chairman Bafna said that Chhattisgarh has immense potential for tourism, as the state is rich in religious, archaeological and historical heritage. He said that Chief Minister Raman Singh has entrusted him with this responsibility of Tourism Board for the second time.
He said that he will put his heart and soul to live up to hisresponsibilities. In this function, Chairman of Raipur Development Authority Sanjay Shrivastava, Chhattisgarh Disable Finance and Development Corporation Sarla Jain, State Youth Commission Chairman Kamalchand Bhanjdev, MarkFed Chairman Radhakrishna Gupta, Chhattisgarh State Agriculture and Seed Development Corporation Chairman Shyam Bais, Chhattisgarh State Industrial Corporation (CSIDC) Chairman Chhagan Mundra, Chairman of Apex Bank Ashok Bajaj and many other public representatives were also present.
