Disciplinary action against the Congress MlA from Bhilai, Badaruddin Qureshi is imminent, as the party has taken his statements against the State Congress president and the leader of the Opposition seriously.
Preparations are on to serve notice on him soon, party sources said. According to party sources, during the Parivartan Yatra, MlA Badaruddin had come out openly against both the leaders of the party and in Durg, even the party workers had clashed on this issue. He had been nurturing political rivalry against the leader of the Opposition Ravindra Choubey.
Suddenly he became active over some years’ old issue and along with Choubey, he had taken the state president of the party, Nandkumar Patel also in his fold. The State Congress committee had sent report of the incident to the State in-charge of the party, Hariprasad and had discussed the issue with the State president.
