Lawyers have organized an awareness campaign, ‘Teeka Mor Rakhwar’ (Vaccine my Protector), in a bid to dispel rumors and doubts among villagers vis-a-vis the Covid-19 vaccine.
In a statement, advocates Anjinesh Anjay Shukla and Nimish Kiran Sharma said they used their spare time to do social service by creating awareness among the villagers.
They said the government is ensuring free vaccine to people but in certain pockets of urban areas and more in rural areas villagers are not ready to take the vaccine doses.
In the villages of Charoda and Parastari in Raipur district, people were told that getting vaccinated is not a personal choice any more but a social responsibility. It is the only way the projected third wave can be prevented.
