Authorities of the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) have appealed the residents not to perform 'Holika Dahan' near their sub-station, lines and transformers.
Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) Vijay Mishra in a press release on Tuesday asked the public to approach the nearest CSEB office in case of any accident involving electrical installations during the Holika Dahan.
Awareness among the consumers will benefit the entire society, he said.
Notably, the Call Centre of the CSEB will function even during Holi for prompt disposal of reported cases.
The company has also started a Central Call Centre for the convenience of the consumers.
Mishra said reports can be registered in Hindi, English and Chhattisgarhi languages.
Interestingly, the power company will hold counseling for the recruitment visually impaired assistant and junior engineer positions on March 28. Officials informed the call letters of the candidates have already been issued.
