Under the "Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwaar", the Transport Department has delivered documents so far to 12.95 lakh people at their doorstep.
An official communiqué on Sunday said that 12.95 lakh smart card-based registration certificates and driving licenses have been delivered to applicants since the scheme began in June 2021.
This includes 868,527 registration certificates and 426,247 driving licenses.
Continuous monitoring of the scheme is being done by Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar for its smooth operation.
Under this, 22 transport-related services are provided to people.
As people no longer have to run from pillar to post, the scheme saves both money and time.
Helpline number 75808-08030 has been issued to make this service more accessible.
The service is available from 10 am to 5.30 pm on working days. Applicants can also send their queries to cgparivahandispatch@gmail.com.
