The Apollo Hospitals conducted a seminar on “Three Updates on Clinical Diet Therapy” in its campus here the other day. Vice President of Dietetics and Chief Dietician of Apollo Group of Hospitals Dr Bhubaneshwari Shankar was its chief guest which was also attended by many senior doctors and other staff members of the hospital.
The seminar laid stress on balanced food that include proper quantity of vitamins, minerals and iron and other nutrition for a healthy body and mind. Addressing the gathering, Dr Bhubaneshwari Shankar showed audio-video visual clips of the Clinical Dietetics and balanced diets for patients. She said that Dieticians must always remain updated with new inventions in diet and their impact on the patients.
