The Annual Rajbhasha Awards Distribution function organised by the Rajbhasha Department of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) was held at the Assembly Hall of Human Resources Development Centre here onTuesday.
Sadhana Tripathi, Deputy Director(Central Region), Rajbhasha Department, GOI graced the occasion as chief guest, according to a BSP press release issued here. S Chandrasekaran, Chief Executive Officer, Bhilai Steel Plant presided over the occasion.
On this occasion three departments of the Plant received the Chief Executive Officer Rajbhasha Shield for maximum usage of Hindi in official work and correspondence, 10 senior officers received the Rajbhasha Unnayak Samman, 11 departments received the Rajbhasha Sammooh/Karyalaya Puraskar for exemplary work while Rajbhasha Vishishth Sewa Samman 2015 was received by 27 executive and non-executive employees. Tuka Ram Sahu, Asstt Manager (PPC) received the award for the Best Hindi Coordination Officer. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Sadhana Tripathi said that the recent receipt of the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar 2015 by NARAKHAS is a matter of great pride for the entire Central Region.
She informed that the Government is placing a lot of emphasis on e-governance and Unicode. Speaking on the occasion, CEO, BSP S Chandrasekaran congratulated the recipients of awards and said that receiving the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar has added to our responsibility.
