Angry villagers and former Chief Minister and Chhattisgarh Janata Congress (Jogi) Chief Ajit Jogi on Friday staged a ‘Chakkajam’ at Cherikhedi of Mandir Hasaud on the national highway in protest of the death of three siblings from a family who were killed by a rashly driven car on Thursday.
Jogi along with his dozen of supporters and local residents blocked the national highway while demanding compensation of Rs 25 lakh for the bereaved family, Jogi said that Government should come forward for helping the family which has lost three children at one go including the only boy of the family.
