Popular Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh who has worked in several Bhojpuri and Bollywood box office hit films will be the star performer at a ‘Bhojpuri Convention cum Akshara night’ to be held here on May 14.
Bhilai Bhojpuri Sanskritik avam lokkala Manch will be organising a ‘Bhojpuri Convention cum Akshara night’ on May 14 in Baikunthdham, camp-2.
Owning to the success and response of last year’s event, the organization is hosting the programme at a larger scale this year, said President of the Manch Y K Singh. For the event scheduled to start from 8 pm, the Manch has made sitting arrangements for around 40000 people at Camp-2 ground, said Singh, adding that people of the community who bring honour for Chhattisgarh as well as the country will be felicitated on this occasion.
Notably, Akshara Singh is a very talented and popular actress of Bhojpuri film industry and also a dancer. She was recently seen hosting a reality singing competition, 'Zilatop singing'. Akshara Singh started her career from a first debut Bhojpuri movie, ‘Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye’.
Akshara is a big name in Bhojpuri film industry now a days who rose to fame with popular movie, ‘Satyamev Jayate’. She was seen opposite Bhojpuri super star Ravi Kishan in the male lead role of 'Satyamev Jayate'. Akshara Singh has worked with many super stars in Bhojpuri film world including, Dinesh lal Yadav, Khesari lal Yadav and Ravi Kishan.
