The State Government on Monday promoted AK Singh, a 1978 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, as Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF).
His appointment as the PCCF would be effective from February 1, 2014, according to an official Press release issued here.
Singh is currently posted as managing director of Chhattisgarh State Small Forest Produce (Trade and Development) Co-operative Federation. After assuming charge as the PCCF on February 1, Singh had been given the additional charge as managing director of Chhattisgarh State Small Forest Produce (Trade and Development) Co-operative Federation.
