Collector Bhim Singh has directed officials to take stern action against the In-charges of various Vocational Training Programmes (VTPs), if they are found conducting ‘out of campus’ courses in the district.
Singh also issued directives to register FIR against VTPs for showing the attendance of the students more than the total number of them enrolled for the training programmes.
The Collector was chairing a review meeting of Chhattisgarh Skill Development Authority. Singh also directed officials to ensure that a student is not appearing for any other examinations while enrolling himself or herself for any training programme.
He directed to enroll students for the next batch so as to enable them to focus on the courses. The Collector also expressed displeasure for many VTPs are not taking efforts for the placement of the students. He asked the officials to submit the inspection report of VTPs on a weekly basis.
