Staff Reporter

BJP lok Sabha candidate from Rajnandgaon, Abhishek Singh, while addressing  election meetings on Saturday at over 20 places under Khujji Assembly segment, appealed to the youth, women, farmers, labourers and children to press the ‘Kamal’ button to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister. He said, “I was  born in this land and learned the culture from this land. Now the BJP has given me an opportunity to pay the debt of this land.”

Making a scathing attack on the Congress, Singh said that during the last 10 years the Congress has given rise to corruption and unemployment. Moreover, the biggest crime that the party has done was hurting the self-respect of the country. Now, the need of the hour is to register vote on ‘Kamal’ symbol and make Narendra Modi Prime Minister, for a strong Government in the country, he added.

He appealed to the masses to treat him as a brother, son and friend, not a leader.

Meanwhile, former minister Rajinder Pal Singh Bhatia and former district party president Dukhuram Sahu, praising all the development schemes of the Government, appealed to the people at the whirlwind meetings to make Abhishek Singh a Member of Parliament. At a meeting at Chhachhanpahari, Bhatia said that the BJP is concerned about the village, the poor and the farmers.

Ravi Manav, a BJP worker, said that the simplicity and spontaneity of the BJP candidate Abhishek Singh has left an indelible mark on the rural people and especially among the youth, women, mothers and sisters, who were seen coming forward to touch and bless Abhishek. Breaking all the security arrangements, Abhishek Singh reached out to the public and listened to their problems and complaints.
