BJP State Unit President Dharamlal Kaushik on Wednesday denoted the Union Budget 2017-18 as the ‘road map of overall development’ of the country presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitely in the parliament on Wednesday. He said that the Finance Minister has presented the Union Budget keeping in mind the needs of all sections of the society.
In the Union Budget, the Finance Minister has made comprehensive arrangements for farmers to double their income, he said.
An amount of `3 lakh crore would be spent for developing villages whereas `48,000 crore has been approved for MGNREGA, Kaushik said.
Similarly, `8,000 thousand crore for dairy, `4 lakh crore for infrastructural development, Railway security besides laying railway track worth `1 lakh crore has been proposed in the budget, he said.
