Housing and Environment Minister Rajesh Munat informed Chhattisgarh Assembly on Friday that a total of 91 sponge iron units, 3 integrated steel plants, 25 smelter plants and 68 power plants have received environment clearance from Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB).
In a written reply to Congress member TS Singhdeo, the Minister informed that environment clearance for two power plants are still pending with CECB.
