A joint team of District Force (DF) and Border Security Force (BSF) defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing 8 kilograms on a road connecting Talabeda and Varche villages near here.
The team had left from Raoghat police station to search operations in the two villages, police said.While conducting the search operations, the team found an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a tiffin bomb weighing 8 kg planted at kutcha road.The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was defused by the team and a case against unidentified insurgents have been booked under Sections 4, 5 of the Explosive Substances Act.
