Ayushman cards were issued to 8,525 beneficiaries in Chhattisgarh’s Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district at camps held as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) from January 8 to 10, an official statement said on Friday.
The VBSY was launched on December 16 to create mass awareness about welfare schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Har Ghar Nal Yojana, Ayushman Card, Kisan Credit Card and more.
Various departments set up booths in the camps to register people for the welfare programmes.
