The three-day 7th National Wheelchair Fencing Championship began at the District Sports Complex here on Sunday.
Divisional Commissioner Sonmoni Borah inaugurated the Championship being held at the District Sports Complex.
Around 200 players from 16 states including Manipur, Karnataka, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, West Bengal and Assam are participating in the championship.
The championship has been organised by Chhattisgarh Pradesh Wheelchair Fencing Association.
Speaking on the occasion Borah lauded the efforts of disabled persons to participate in the championship.
