Chhattisgarh Police arrested 306 gamblers in the state capital during Diwali festival between November 1 and 5.
Raids netted Rs 2.56 lakhs in cash and playing cards, Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Tarkeshwar Patel said on Saturday. The arrests were made in various localities.
On Friday night, 63 persons were held from Urla, Ganj, Kotwali, Telibandha, Amanaka, Tikrapara, Mujgahan and Gobra Navapara police station limits.
