For tackling the dearth of medical staff in rural areas state government has made regular appointments on 261 vacant posts of rural medical assistants in remote areas of Chhattisgarh. All the rural medical assistants have been appointed in primary health centres, said an official statement issued here on Monday.
Appointment and posting orders of the selected candidates have already been issued by the civic administration department in this connection. The selected candidates have been given one month time to take charge on their respective post.
All rural medical assistants will have to undergo probation period of two years.The pay grade fixed for medical assistant is Rs 9000-34000, (3400).
Meanwhile during the first three months of probation period they will be imparted special training. Once they complete the training successfully then only their posting would be made regular.
