Five Naxals, including two female ultras, surrendered before police in the insurgency hit Dantewada district, police said here on Monday.
The surrendered ultras were identified as Mitki Podiyami, Somli Kudiyam, Sannu Kudiyam, Maniram Oyam and Shankar Madkam, all are residents of Dantewada, said Superintendent of Police Kamlochan Kashyap. They rebels were dissatisfied by the dual standards adopted by senior cadres of the banned outfit, SP said adding they used to carry 12 bore and muzzle guns. They were involved in different Naxals incidents. They would be rehabilitated according the policies of Chhattisgarh, he added.
