Two District Force personnel suffered injuries on their feet after they stepped onto Booby traps laid by Maoists near Talaguda village in Sukma district, officials informed.
The Booby traps are common in the jungles of Bastar which are laid by Maoists to injure security personnel. The injured personnel Panda Ramesh and Palli Chinavi were airlifted to Jagdalpur Medical College Hospital for further treatment. A team of DF personnel had left for combing operations from Golappali police station when two of them stepped on the Booby traps laid by Naxals near Talaguda village, they stated.
