As part of the certification course in election related works, Chhattisgarh is the first State where training is being imparted to Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers organised by Election Commission of India.
Chhattisgarh along with States of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Mizoram would witness Atate Assembly general election in 2018.
Chhattisgarh Chief Electoral Officer Subrat Sahoo said that based on the certification course organised by ECI, four days second phase of training was imparted to 116 returning and assistant returning officers at Nimora based State Rural Development Institute.
Sahoo further said that certification course related second phase examination would be also organised for which the dates would be announced in coming days.
