As many as 11 lok Seva Kendras in the district have been authorised for registration of Aadhar Cards free of cost.Collector Umesh Kumar Agrawal, while chairing a meeting of the Centre operators, directed them to prepare new Aadhar cards in an organised manner. He asked them to display information about the free registration of Aadhar cards at all the centres.
He said that number of printers at the centres should be increased for taking Aadhar card print out. For making the card one needs only 10-15 minutes time. Therefore, the beneficiaries should be given token and should be called at particular time so that they would not have to wait. It will also avoid rush at the centre, he added.The collector said that for taking out print of the card a fee of `10 is chargeable and extra charge should not be levied upon the beneficiary.
