The ‘precaution doses’ of Covid-19 vaccine for those who are above the age of 60, with comorbidities, frontline works and health workers will begin across Chhattisgarh on January 10.
With new variant Omicron spreading in the state, the ‘precaution doses’ are being administered as part of a nationwide drive, an official communication said on Sunday.
The time interval between the second and third doses is nine months or 39 weeks. People can register online or walk in and get themselves registered for the jab.
A statement from Raipur District Collector Saurabh Kumar said 37 offices have been made vaccination centres where all the eligible beneficiaries will be vaccinated from 10.30 am.
