Director General of Police (DGP) D M Awasthi on Tuesday directed SPs from insurgency-infested districts to continue with their input based anti-Naxal operations in the affected regions.
Chairing a meeting of SPs from insurgency infested districts at the SIB Headquarters in Raipur, the DGP asked SPs to exercise caution that the force in any circumstances do not violate human rights.
The DGP asked SPs to ensure that people help police in their welfare initiatives to increase their faith in the force.
