The Congress Government would not work with feeling of revenge but will work to stamp out corruption and wasteful expenditure, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary and Chairman of Media Cell Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said on Saturday. He said that both the issues are the need of the hour.
The Congress party has expressed strong disapproval of purchase of new vehicles by the outgoing Government in the State, he said.
Trivedi further raised question over the purchase of 14 new SUVs by the outgoing BJP Government.
“The BJP has lost and new Government has not been formed yet and even the oath ceremony has not been held; then how come the new vehicles have been purchased,” he questioned.
Around Rs 3 crore have been spent on purchase of new vehicles which raises many questions, Trivedi said. The public want a clarification on this too.
