Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday accused the BJP of pursuing an ideology borrowed from foreign countries. The BJP believes in Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini and they have nothing to do with India's ancient culture.
He told reporters at the Swami Vivekanand Airport after arriving from Jaipur rally that the BJP’s politics was based on creating sensation and rumours and fanning communal hatred.
“They have nothing to do with our ancient culture. It is the Congress which has preserved the knowledge of Vedas and Upanishads and helped flourish Indian culture across the country,” Baghel said.
Contrarily, the BJP’s mother organization RSS believes in marching with band and sticks, wearing half pants and black caps. These are not Indian traditions, Baghel said.
All the sages in India have talked about truth. Mahatma Gandhi too wrote his autobiography, and they are the guiding lamp for the Congress party, Baghel added.
