HOMEOPATHY SAYS...

While Homeopathy doesn’t have any food combos that need to be avoided because they make you ill, there are a few restrictions. In general, there are a few dos and don’ts. People with respiratory problems should avoid milk, milk products and sweets. Homeopathy also, specifies that one should avoid junk food at all cost for general betterment of health. There is also need to avoid oily foods. The reason why there is restriction of eating strong smelling items stems from the fact that Homeopathy medicines are prepared delicately. Any strong smell will mitigate the effect of the medication. In that case, these medicines should be taken with a gap of half hour, rinsing the mouth and early in the morning

AYURVEDA SAYS...

There is need to avoid foods that are extreme in nature. For example milk and namkeen should not be eaten together. One should also avoid very hot and very cold foods together. A person should eat basic foods like salads, fruits, etc to be eaten with roti and sabzi. One should avoid all kind of junk food and preservative foods. One should also avoid foods that have a lot of vinegar since it creates acidity. As it is our system secretes a lot of hydrochloric acid to digest food and due to stress, acidity is on the rise. Also, a lot of people have violent creation to momos and the chilli sauce they eat with it; this should be avoided.

Ayurveda says that fish and milk should be avoided. Yogurt and fruit is a good combo provided that curd is fresh.
