Explaining about the nature of Asian Palm Civet, Wasim Akram, Manager on Special Projects, said the civet can be seen in urban environments rarely as they tend to be shy and wary of humans.
“Rapid encroachment on civet’s habitat and deforestation is beginning to redefine the boundaries between forest and urban areas. Consequently, incidents of wild animals straying into urban area are increasing,” said the Manager on Special Projects.
