The US embassy in New Delhi on Friday said one of its employees had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. According to a news report on Friday, the US envoy to India, Kenneth Juster, in an email dated 1 April informed employees of the mission that an “American had tested positive” and also sought to allay any apprehension of infection spreading by saying that the mission was in the process of “contact tracing” and providing medical support to those who may have been exposed.
