Studied silence by Pak on terror

PNS

The Chief of Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency Mohsin Butt maintained silence when confronted with questions by journalists about fugitive terrorists Dawood Ibrahim and Lashkar-e-Tayyaba chief Hafiz Saeed — living in his country under ISI patronage.

Once Modi’s address was over, he was surrounded by reporters who wanted to know about the location of the 1993 Mumbai blast mastermind Dawood Ibrahim, designated as a global terrorist by the United Nations, and other terrorists wanted by India like Jaish-e-Muhammad chief Masood Azhar. Butt, however, maintained stoic silence and walked away even as media persons fired a volley of questions at the top Pakistani delegate.
