In a bid to make the Home Ministry’s notification a political issue, the Kejriwal Government has called a two-day emergency Assembly session on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss the notification specifying the role and powers of the lieutenant-Governor.
A Cabinet meeting was held on Saturday to discuss the notification. The Assembly session was due to take place in June for the passage of the Budget. The Kejriwal Government will also hold a ‘Jan Samvad’ at the Central Park in Connaught Place on Monday as the AAP Government completes 100 days in power.
