In a shocking incident, the daughter of the principal of a prestigious Delhi school allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday night.
The body of 29-year-old Anjana Saini, daughter of DR Saini, principal of Delhi Public School, RK Puram, was
found on Tuesday night at their home located on the school campus.
Anjana, who was working with India Bulls as a manager, left a suicide note in which she stated that she was taking the decision to end her life
and did not wish to blame anyone for it.
However, she did mention the name of a young man with whom she had a relationship in the note and stated that she could not take his refusal to marry her.
The tragic incident took place around 9 pm on Tuesday. Anjana, who was found hanging from the ceiling fan, had used a stole to end her life. The body was discovered by her mother who went upstairs to check on her.
She raised an alarm and the family members immediately rushed Anjana to Fortis Hospital where she was declared brought dead.
The family members told the police that they were searching for a groom for Anjana and wanted her to get married but were finding it difficult to get a suitable boy as Anjana was ‘maanglik’.
